Steps for subscribing Silver Bond 2024 through online channel: 

(A) Desktop version:

Step 1: 
Log into your account

Go to https://www.ebshkdirect.com/  and click the “Login” button at the top right corner of the webpage.

Step 2:
Go to the “Trading” Page

After successful login to the main “Trading” Page, visit the “IPO” section. Select 2024 Silver Bond of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (“Silver Bond 2024”) and then click “Apply”.

Step 3:
Apply in the IPO Subscription Page


You will be directed to the IPO Subscription Page. Click “Cash Application” and then read the “Important Notes” and agree with “Conditions for Application by Full Payment”. Select the number of shares that you would like to subscribe. Click “Submit” to apply for the Silver Bond 2024.

(B) APP Version:

Step 1:
Log into your account


Log into your eMO! APP Account and click “IPO Subscription”.

Step 2:
Choose the product that you would like to subscribe in the “IPO Subscription Page”

Choose the “2024 Silver Bond of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region” in the “IPO Subscription Page” and then click “Apply”.

Step 3:
Select the number of shares and apply

After reading the “Important Notes” and “ Conditions for Application by Full Payment”, select the number of shares that you would like to subscribe. Click “Submit” to apply for the Silver Bond 2024.

Note: Clients who wish to subscribe for Silver Bond 2024 must be 60 years old or over by the end of 2024 (i.e. date of birth on or before December 31, 1965) with holding a valid Hong Kong identity card and maintaining a trading account with EBSI and are not physically present in the United States or Canada, nor is it a U.S. Person as defined under Regulation S of the U.S. Securities Act of 1933, as amended (including any person residing in the United States and any partnership or corporation organized or registered under the laws of the United States) or a Canadian resident; in addition, are not acting as an agent for any American or Canadian resident.

The Offer of 5 Fee-Waivers for Silver Bond 2024 Subscription – Details and the terms and conditions:

  1. The offer of 5 Fee-Waivers (the “Offer”) in respect of the Silver Bond 2024 subscription is provided by corporations under Everbright Securities International (“EBSI”) which are licensed by the Securities and Futures Commission and is coordinated by Everbright Securities Investment Services (HK) Limited (“EBSISHK”). The relevant licensed corporations act in their capacity as an agent during the subscription process. EBSISHK is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Everbright Securities International Company Limited, collectively referred to as “Everbright Securities International” (“EBSI”). EBSI Direct is a service of Everbright Securities International.
  2. The Offer is valid from September 30, 2024 (Monday), 9am to October 10, 2024 (Thursday), 2pm, both dates inclusive (the “Promotion Period”).
  3. New and existing clients who successfully subscribed the Silver Bond 2024 through EBSI within the Promotion Period will enjoy the Offer of waiving the “Subscription Handling Fee”, “Maturity Redemption Fee”, “Custody Fee”, “Initial Subscription Commission” and “Interest Collection Fee”.
  4. The Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offers.
  5. EBSI reserves the rights to suspend, modify or terminate the Offer and modify any terms and conditions from time to time without prior notice.
  6. In case of any disputes, the decision of EBSI shall be final and binding on all clients who participate in the Silver Bond 2024 subscription.
  7. Investment involves risk.
