EBSHK Direct Member-Get-Member Program (the “MGM Program”) is provided and coordinated by Sun Hung Kai Investment Services Limited (“SHKIS”). SHKIS is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Everbright Sun Hung Kai Company Limited and operates under the Everbright Sun Hung Kai (“EBSHK”) brand.
“Promotion Period” of the offer starts from Jul 1, 2021 and ends on Sep 30, 2021, both dates inclusive (the “Promotion Period”).
A New Client means a Referee who (i) did not have an individual or joint trading account maintained with any member company of EBSHK in the 12 months preceding the effective date of account opening; (ii) who was not a beneficial owner of any corporate trading account maintained with any member company of EBSHK during the aforesaid period; (iii) who successfully opens an individual or joint securities trading account with SHKIS during the Promotion Period; (iv) provides all necessary documents for account opening application; and (v) deposits HK$10,000 (or above) or an equivalent amount of new funds to the cash account or margin account with SHKIS and maintains the same in the account for 90 calendar days after account opening.

If a client (“Referrer”) successfully introduces a New Client (“Referee”) to open a new individual or joint securities trading account with SHKIS during the Promotion Period in accordance with the Terms and Conditions for EBSHK Direct Member-Get-Member Program, both the Referrer and the Referee will be eligible to enjoy HK/US Stocks buy-commission waiver for the first three months (commission waiver via refund, capped at HK$3,000). If the Referrer successfully refers two new clients, the Referrer will be eligible to enjoy HK/US Stocks buy-commission waiver for the first three months (commission waiver via refund, capped at HK$6,000), and so on.
The priority of commission rebate should be Hong Kong stocks first, then US stocks. If the commission rebate amount for Hong Kong stocks has exceeded the upper limit of rebate, the US stocks’s buy commission will no longer be eligible for rebate.
The commission rebate will be deposited into the client account in Hong Kong dollars, and the commission amount of the US stock rebate will be calculated at the exchange rate of 7.75.

The Referrer & the Referee will be contacted to collect the reward(s) within 3 months via email or telephone. In the event that the Referrer & the Referee cannot be contacted by SHKIS via Email or telephone after reasonable attempts, he/she will be deemed to have forfeited their rewards. The Referrer & the Referee may only collect their rewards within 2 months from the notice date, otherwise, he/she will be deemed to have forfeited their rewards.
Each referrer may only be eligible for the EBSHK Direct Ambassador Special Award once.
The Referrer is required to bring along the HKID card to our office in person to collect Gift Certificate during service hours.
Each Referrer may refer up to 9 New Clients to SHKIS during the Promotion Period of the MGM Program.
Rewards cannot be exchanged for other gifts or cash and is available while stock lasts.
EBSHK and EBSHK Direct are not the supplier of the rewards and therefore shall not bear any responsibility related to the rewards or the services or products to which the rewards are entitled. Any dispute in relation to the rewards or the services or products to which the rewards are entitled shall be resolved between the supplier of reward and the client.

All account holders under one joint account opened is counted as one New Client.
The MGM Program is not applicable to institutional customer, staff, agents and investment consultants of EBSHK. The MGM Program cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offers.
SHKIS reserves the rights to suspend, amend or terminate the MGM Program and any of the terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any notification made by SHKIS in this regard will be final and conclusive.
In case of any disputes, EBSHK reserves the right to make the final decision, which will be binding for all parties concerned.
If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
In response to the market needs of different products, each product has its own distinct characteristics, risks and terms. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Each party agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.
US Stock commission waiver is only applicable to ‘UStock Pro’.
